HM, so high speed performance does feel accurate, but low speed is completely off. If i pull 8G at 800 in a flanker with this load if will fall from the air

Judging by this chart Su-27 should be absolutely goated at speeds close to mach 1
iirc it is IAS tho so you need to make the conversion
and that chart is for the 27SK so you would need to compare it to the J-11 ingame
It’s because once the community discovered they were using t10 documents to model the su-27, the devs got absolutely trashed on, but instead of doing a proper job they just decreased drag and called it a day. Su-27 overperforms at high speeds and this was already reported but it appear they just don’t care at all.

yeah it is still behaving exactly the same, but 1 to 2 degrees per second better
Yeah, but you still have altitude curves, so you don’t necessarily need to know your TAS (i use both HUD elements personally)

They do but Typhoon has been massively impacted it falls out of the sky now compared to when it was first added.
Someone did the calcs and Typhoon in acceleration and time to turn is now performing at the levels of the RB 199 engined prototype and not the real EJ200 performance figures. As it stands in game it would not have met the acceptance criteria

I asked a question about the R-77-1 in the group that should know what the missile was capable of.
Gripen has been buffed now and is as good as Rafale in BFM at the time SU-27SM was overperforming at higher speeds (was I wrong?)
gripen should NEVER lose to a flanker in dogfights, it never did in war thunder, that was pure skill issue on your side, the flanker is slightly overperforming at speeds above mach 1 (and we dont even know if thats true or not, especially in the su27sm case, cause there is 0 sources for that, no one knows how good su27 is with al31fm1 engines), why tf would anyone dogfight at that speed? to make a gigantic circle and let anyone sit inside?

that only works if you are 100% sure your enemy dosent have any missiles and even then the gripen can just sit inside your circle
even without missiles, any competent pilot can controll how much they’re pulling and can keep the plane at around 800 km/h to stay comfortably inside someone’s mach 1 circle and that without having to worry too much about running out of energy
And if they do, well, the deltas pick the speed back up like it’s nothing, flankers don’t, especially the new Su-30

It never stopped overperforming at high speeds, but the gripen also isn’t much different from how It was back when you made your statement, su-27sm never could beat it in bfm…
