S to X bands are a HUE gap in wavelength, there isn’t much of a “made for both” here, as S would negate its advantages to begin with.
X-band radars have relatively shorter wavelengths, larger bands couldn’t care less about serration when it doesn’t have a tangible affect on its reflection.
to make myself clear i was talking about sawtooth edges, which wont matter for X band
However for the serrated physical edges, they will matter for x band, but what actually would be right to say, simply angling would be enough, making it serrated would actually make it irregular, giving of diffractions.
the frame itself is angled a bit downwards, other than that
the white stuff seems to be RAM sandwiched in between, this is also supported by the fact this is applied on important exposed joints, where RAM would help.

I mean, when you think about it, the logic behind the Su-57 design is actually pretty good. I mean, just look at it; it’s a sub-1 m² RCS. Include electronic warfare, and you get a pretty good aircraft that most modern radars would struggle to get a lock on, so when you think about it, when the two stealth jets fight each other, it’s more than likely that they might get close enough to use IR missiles or maybe even get into a dogfight.
And I have to say, people that hate the Su-57 don’t really see the purpose of it; they just see, Ahh, it’s worse RCS than the Raptors, so it’s just a bad jet. Based on design clues, I can see the Su-57 isn’t really meant to be like a stealth fighter equal to a Raptor; it’s supposed to fight inside of its air defense bubble. And I know I’m not supposed to talk about it, but in certain happenings in Eastern Europe, you can see the Su-57 doing exactly that.
