Suggestion: Royal Saudi Arabian Armed Forces (RSAF & RSLF) as a Sub-Tree

Introduction:

As War Thunder continues to expand, introducing new nations and sub-trees enriches the gameplay and brings fresh experiences to the community. While standalone trees require massive homegrown industries, the Sub-Tree system has proven to be the most efficient and historically accurate way to represent nations that rely on multi-national procurement. A prime candidate for this is the Royal Saudi Arabian Armed Forces.

The Precedent – The Greek Sub-Tree in Israel:

Some might argue that a Saudi sub-tree would have a mix of British and American platforms, making its placement debatable. However, Gaijin has already set a clear and successful precedent with this exact scenario: the introduction of the Greek sub-tree within the Israeli tech tree. Israel primarily utilizes American-designed hardware, yet the Greek sub-tree seamlessly integrated French platforms like the Mirage and Rafale. Therefore, placing American-built jets (such as the F-15SA and F-5E) alongside British-developed aircraft (such as the Tornado and Eurofighter Typhoon) within a Saudi sub-tree is entirely consistent with the game’s established design philosophy.

Proposed Content for the Saudi Sub-Tree:

Air Force (RSAF):

Early & Mid Ranks: Westland Wapiti, North American T-6 Texan, F-86F Sabre, Hawker Hunter F.60, and English Electric Lightning F.53.

High Ranks: Northrop F-5E Tiger II, Panavia Tornado IDS/ADV, McDonnell Douglas F-15C/D Eagle, the uniquely upgraded F-15SA Advanced Eagle, and the Eurofighter Typhoon.

Ground Forces (RSLF & Air Defense):

Tanks: AMX-13, M41 Walker Bulldog, AML-90, M60A1/A3 Patton, AMX-30SA, and the modern M1A2 Abrams (M1A2S).

Light Vehicles & Support: LAV-25, LAV-AG, and PLZ-45 artillery.

Air Defense (SPAAG/SAM): M163 VADS and mobile missile systems.

Helicopters (RSAF Aviation):

Bell 206, OH-58 Kiowa, and the formidable AH-64D Apache.

Conclusion:

Adding the Saudi Armed Forces as a sub-tree (ideally under the British tech tree, given their deep historical and aviation ties) would bring incredible high-tier variety, bridge historical gaps, and fulfill the desires of a massive player base in the Middle East.
