that’d be a bit weird, as I’ve never seen a CBT for a tech tree branch. they’ve mentioned submarines being part of the blue water tree after all.

They have done it loads of times for example French Air tree and ground tree was CBT when it was first added that’s how things use to get rolled out.

It’d be like putting the hungarian ground or swiss air subtrees in CBT.
From what I heard in the streams it seems that they just intend to release submarines as (pun not intended) subtrees in the german and US blue water trees in December.
Just wait for the news as from my understand of the streams is completely different to what you just said.

But I think they weren’t sure. The leak list suggest that UK and Japan also will get submarines. I hope more than 2 nations will get them.

I really hope more nations will get them at the same time. But I guess Germany and USA would do.
I wonder is there any way to test drive German sun on the dev server? I feel like it should be in the files, just hidden. Maybe there’s the American subs as well, for the event.

Yeah that was my hope as well, but hopefully when we get more official news their will be some highlights on what to expected and for what nations are getting and whom is next etc.
Maybe they might let people play with them later on in dev server as it is open for a long time until the 7th of November IIRC.
I was thinking Gato for US (probably my SH4 bias), but seems like it’s going to be the Tang, which is cool too!
