Hello War Thunder Team,
I would like to submit a formal request for reviewing the in-game implementation and Battle Rating (BR) placement of the Sholef V.1, based on its historical autoloader and fire-control system (FCS) capabilities — and considering balance relative to vehicles such as 2S19M2 and AUF1.
🔎 Reasoning & Comparative Context
- The real Sholef V.1 was designed with a fully functional automatic loading system and integrated fire-control / ballistic computer system. These systems significantly improved its rate of fire, accuracy and responsiveness compared to older manually-loaded self-propelled howitzers.
- Comparable modern SPHs in War Thunder:
- 2S19M2 — offers automatic loading and modern fire control, with corresponding in-game reload and firing performance. War Thunder — official forum
- AUF1 — also represents a modern artillery platform with expectations for efficient loading and fire-control.
- If Sholef V.1 is implemented with its historical autoloader + FCS, then its effective combat potential and tactical role would closely resemble (or in some aspects surpass) those comparable SPHs like 2S19M2 or AUF1.
✅ Request
Given the above, I kindly request:
- The in-game Sholef V.1’s autoloader and FCS be implemented (or re-examined) to reflect historical capability.
- After such implementation, the BR of Sholef V.1 be reviewed — possibly adjusted to reflect its true combat potential relative to 2S19M2 and AUF1.
- A comparative evaluation: if 2S19M2 and AUF1 remain at their current BR/performance, Sholef V.1 should not be underpowered in comparison.
I believe this adjustment would both honor historical accuracy and maintain fair balance among modern SPHs in War Thunder.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and for your ongoing dedication to realism and balance.
Sincerely.
