Sub-tree for USSR / Russia?

If the USSR tech-tree were to get a sub-tree which nation / nations would you prefer it to be?

North Korea yes but as a sub tree for China, the other ones don’t make much sense imo

USSR doesn’t need any sub tree. Is already a very populated tech tree. It just need more IFVs.

I think adding the BMP-3M and maybe the BMPT Terminator would be good

Poland + Czechoslovakia would make a great TT on their own. Ukraine would be a good Sub-TT for them along with other WARSAW pact nations.

Serbia… Maybe, but dont really know.

North Korea would be better for either China or as part of a Korea TT

But ultimately. Why? Soviets have the most complete TT in game and the only reason I can think to add some of these is to just get NATO gear on the soviet TT

Seriously Poland a Czeh would be just copy past at higher tiers, not worth it imo

No major TT has a need for a sub-tree. The only reason anybody would want one is because they aren’t too fond of that nations playstyle and want to spice it up a bit, at which point you can just play another TT rather than ruining the uniqueness off other TTs.

Ukraine and Czechoslovakia is already part of ussr
there are a select number of vehicles that exist in ussr that are part of the 2 countries
so no difference really, and adding them as a sub-tree would increase grind or oversaturate the TT

i would rather agree to a select number of vehicles whether light vehicles or vehicles with good negative elevation

neither would UK or france, they all have possible additions

the only “major” nation that needs a subtree currently is germany.
Comparing the projects etc from US and russia to germany which are multiple times larger realy is unfair.
In reality germany is on the same lvls as france and the UK

The only purpose of it would be to fill the gap between the ICE and the EF. That alone is not enouh of a reason for an entire subtree, especially since the early EF models are probably getting added within one of the next 3-4 majors. The ground TT is already one of the most fleshed out ones right now, and there’s still hundreds of potential unique domestic German vehicles left to be added spread out over every era.

besides that there is more reasons, general addittions of aircraft at that br because the tree from cold war onwards is quite empty then there is the massive light gap from 3.7-6.7
there is enough reasons for it to be added
