Personally i think su34 should get the r77-1 as it is pretty much the most advanced russian aircraft with the exception of su57. And imo its not competitive at 13.3 either so 13.7 with a much better missile would only make it more viable(i dont havr it currently but its a free kill usually). Only issue would be grb but su30sm is already so it wouldnt change much. Ussr players what do you guys think?

idk man… r77-1 just have more range than r77 and have almost same trash seeker. the aim120 more better imo except with range

More range more energy. If you get within <20km you would have significant advantage over amraams imo

Only ARH with different seekers are the Aim-54s/F-90s. All other ARHs (MICA, R-77, Aim-120, PL-12, etc etc) have the exact same seeker.

They have the exact same seeker though. The missiles themselves are very weak and they loft wierdly, but seekers themselves are the same

Same seeker, derby just so happened to be an IR missile with a radar taped on to it. Really good under 10km though

Afaik each ARH has a different seeker, just slightly different. MICA is the hardest to notch.

I agree with MICA being the hardest, but I attribute that to it being hte hardest to kinematically defeat out of all of them when fired at closer ranges rather than the seeker being implicitly better though.
But Im reasonably confident the base seekers are virtually the same if not the same

they should give it to the su-34/mig-29smt
I don’t get why Su-34 is 13.3, it can take a way better AA load out than any other flanker with 6 R-27ETs, it should be 13.7 without R-77-1 by any means, as a fighter the su-34 is way better than su-27sm. But I think it should get 77-1 and go to 14.0

Keep in mind the MICA is getting a smaller notch angle in this patch due to multiple bug reports about it.

true but if they add the su-34m variant it will let have hmd and then it will be a really good aircraft at 14.0 or more because then it could carry every simple Russian air-air rocket and would make it really good cas jet
You are aware the we already have the NVO variant right? Gaijin doesn’t have it labeled as such in the tech tree but that’s its name in the files. And yes I believe this aircraft should receive R-77-1.
