Su30sm, su30mkm The N011M radar has very limited vertical scan

That reminds me, I should bug report the irst modes for the su-30

yes, stop slacking off

Also just want to say that the external antennas are not the RWR. SAAB could have built their internal RWS-50 to work with the antenna. No one knows if Malaysia bought the SAAB or russian RWR so we can’t rule out a SAAB RWR when this whole plane is a mix of western and eastern electronics.

Su30MKI also has the “L-150 knobs”, is Gaijin gonna give them the L-150 RWR when India uses their own developed Tarang Rwr?

You can clearly see that the antennas are of different dimensions and also located in different places on the aircraft tail. You have the visuals of RWS-50 antennas?

The wing antennas are the same. And the tails are sure in different places but also the same.

Doesn’t exist, we only have info on the RWR system. Like I said, antennas =/= RWR.

Unlike the MKM, there is a brochure about the Su-30MKI RWR.

I’m not denying Indian RWR, Im trying to prove a point you can’t identify RWR from external antennas alone.

But unlike the MKM, the MKI has a noticeable difference in the antenna fastening

antennas are integral part of the RWR, without them it would simply not work.

they are longer than L-150 antennas

ur missing the point. I’m saying SPO antennas =/= SPO RWR. The Su30mkm can have a RWS-50 RWR that uses the SPO Antennas.

Antennas of RWR are not universal. For something like that to work SAAB would have to design an RWR specifically for Russian interfaces. That is if Russia would even be willing to share technical information about L-150 antennas.

Yes SAAB and Sukhoi worked together on the Su30mkm

That RWR display screen shown looks a bit similar to Astronautics’ promotional material for their 3ATI / EW MFCD’s

Not saying it was made by Astronautics, but I find the similarity pretty funny.

Your own source shows that both sides provided complete blocks of avionics, not something that was joint developed. There is a humongous differecnce between these 2 methods when military is concerned.

Im not saying it was joint developed, Im saying that SAAB made the MAWS and LWS to work on a russian plane so wondering if they needed permission for the antennas are out of the question

That plus the official UAC website says only the lwr and maws were made by Saab, and doesn’t mention anything else

And they have no obligaiton to state everything SAAB gave to Malaysia. There is no concrete evidence to deny SAAB’s RWR

@kizvy my man is way too dense it seems, i’m washing my hands

You can replace “Saab rwr” with literally any rwr if that’s all the evidence you have, lack of omission
