It’s not. Because again, MiGs aren’t being sold due solely to logistics and parts procurement issues within Russia itself. Countries that historically have purchased Russian aircraft and armor systems are pivoting to China or even Georgia for much of the same reasons. India said the SU 57 does not meet it’s requirements for stealth and pulled out of a deal with Russia. Most Russian exports to nations like India are then heavily modified especially regarding radar and avionics. China just completely cut Russia out of their flanker development and went full domestic because they could do better designing flankers than Russia apparently

the Su-57 does that, from buddy drones to normal DL to having 360° IRST coverage
Fifth-gen also combines advanced low observable technologies previously incorporated into limited platforms
the Su-57 also fits that requirment with special geometry and RAM coating

well the Al-41 that is still used by them is enough for supercruising and then there is this engine that the Su-57 will recive

No, the MiG-35 is not particularly modern. Sukhoi’s fighters are the most relevant and modern planes in the VKS.
Since when can they not produce such RAM coatings? Both Su-35 and Su-57 use them, according to who do they import it?
None of that is an argument about industrial capabilities. Sales reflect capacity and consistency. The things Russia lacks. Cannot replace SU 34 losses, losing exports of SU 25s because Georgia leads modernization of that platform. JF-17 countering F-16 sales. J-10 countering any Russian sales ie Egypt. The market tells the truth. As does the lack of production capability. Needing Iran to build factories in Russia for drone production. Needing China to make and export RAC for them. Historically Russian-leaning markets buying armor systems from China and even Ukraine. This is not a functional modern defense industry and the whole world proves it.
Even if we change goal posts, your argument is worthless. How does the MiG-35 represent the whole Russian production of fighter jets? Why not look at the Su-30 and Su-35?
This isn’t moving goalposts. This is my original point that Russia fails to meet modern defense benchmarks consistently that other nations meet just fine.
The MiG 35 was solely marketed as Russia’s big export king. Obviously that worked well. About as well as the SU 75 is currently
