It has to be clarified that despite being the exact same engines (part for part) only the Izd-177S (14 500 kgf) can be refited to flankers, as the higher thrust output (16 000 kgf) of the Izd-177 would cause damage to the structure.
izd 177 is sligthly heavier than izd 177s. I dont think theyre the exact same part for part
To the best of my knowledge, no such statement has ever been made by UAC or by any Russian official source. At present, this claim appears to be purely speculative. If there is concrete evidence to the contrary, it would be helpful to see a verifiable source supporting it.
In my view, the existence of the Izd.177S is far more plausibly explained not by any supposed “structural limitation,” but by the fact that it provides a plug-and-play solution for existing Flanker operators. It allows customers to upgrade their aircraft without undergoing the lengthy and expensive re-qualification and recertification process that the higher-output Izd.177 would inevitably require.
It is also worth noting that it has long been public knowledge that Russia planned to retrofit the Su-35S with the Su-57’s second-stage engine ( known back then as Izd.30), which was known would offer higher thrust than current Flanker powerplants. This strongly suggests that structural limits were not considered a prohibitive issue, at least for the newer Flanker variants such as the Su-30 family and Su-35.
That doesn’t mean structural limits weren’t a problem lmao ???
The difference between the f22 and the su57 is that both their cross sections have been confirmed on radar?? The su57 having a cross section of .1 and the f22 having the cross section of .0001. You can say this is made up or whatever excuse you want to lie about but these have been recorded IRL not in your little propaganda brochures that feed y’all’s delusions.
The f15c was entered into service in 1979 bro the sm2 came out in 2022 there’s russian bias then there’s purposely making USA the worst nation because your jealous lmao
Liar, su30 who come from su27ub entered service in 1992
Combat ready f22 does not have exposed screws so keep making stuff up

This aint no propaganda
the F-15C ingame is from ~2010
do you really think that the 1979 F-15C had the JHMCS?
also conviniently ignoring the new eurofighters which arent even in service yet
Surprise surprise paint can deteriorate lol. F-22s are fully painted or (fully mission capable) when they’re on missions. No reason to apply expensive low observable paint when they’re flying home station.
shit must be annoying yo paint your jets everytime it need to go on a mission, that sad.
imagine some attacking you and you wanna intercept, nah hold up bit gonna paint my jets give me 1 week.
It’s not really that complicated. All aircraft are prepped for missions. It’s not like waking up and putting your shoes on. Lots of work goes into it. Painting doesn’t take a week.
sources?
so its a slightly worse F119?
Nah, best stealth plane is the R2Y2. Stealthy enough NOBODY has ever seen it fly.
Qt this point just imagine resource of the engine lol
Feel free to bring us those IRL records you are talking about.
You’re right it’s not propaganda it’s clearly incompetence! Clearly it’s not a combat ready aircraft as are most trainer f22’s
