The Su-30SM is doing well where it is and is very good; the Rafale is the one that’s unbalanced.

The eurocanards are op, they need to go up. The GE and 30SM are fine where they are
rafale? definetly, but the ef2k is fine where it is now, at least for now that aim120s are bricks.

That’s not what most good players told me, from what I’ve heard it does have bad weapons and bad avionics but the fm is still really powerful (better than the Rafale) so it would be more balanced higher with better weapons
the only thing bad about its avionics is the radar the rest is pretty good
funnily it is the complete inverse on the Su-30SM where you have a good radar but the rest of the avionics is pretty bad (worst RWR coverage at top tier and one of the few 14.3 without MAW)

yeah but thats not really saying much as most 14.3 matches have a large chunk of 14.0s considering 14.3 is literally just ef2k, rafale and su30sm

The su30 still has worse rwr coverage than any non Russian plane with a digital rwr

to be fair KJ8602 of chinese top tier jets should also be ±30 degrees elevation, just that no one has reported it
doesnt really play out as a issue in 90% of games, hell vast majority of fox 3s you dodge visually
It is an issue even in rb, especially if someone launches top down on you, because you are much less likely to put the missile in the RWR zone accidentally when manouvering.
And the there is Sim EC where you can’t notch missiles visually
i dont find that big of an issue personally, the aircraft is plenty strong to make up for it in spades.
much the same for sim although it is a bigger issue there
I almost always notch based on RWR, just feels more consistent to me
while su-35 will have the same l-150 rwr, it will at least have spherical maws so you can notch using that
