We all believe the Su-33 will be added next with the F-18 but The Su-33 comes with a issue it doesn’t carry Fox 3 missiles like it’s counter part. So I’m hoping that Russia could get 2 of its Naval Carriers for the Yak Line ( Su-33 could be BR 13.0 & Mig-29k 13.7 )

That is IF China get J-15 (they could, but Ill hold my hopes high)
They will, its been the backbone of the PLANAF for over a decad and the new J-15T will be the best navalised flanker yet

they would definitely not add the j-15t, they’re going to go for the first one. the new one would have aesa among with ws 10 engines, which would be ridiculous in wt right now.
Yes, but I mean in the next update. Carrier based jets isnt a game changer like Fox-3 were, so Gaijin is not pushed to give everyone the new toy
J-15A is still miles better than any Su-33 variant, point still stand that china is the way to go for flanker fans

They have to time it well to avoid adding chinese aircraft too late or too early, like the J-8F for example or J11A, naval plane update will be sensible time to add J-15, also dont mind my spelling mistakes, I’m trying to type on a phone in freezing temperatures

actually it is, was just going to say all it gets were better missiles and and a better radar but that’s all that is to a plane these days. and it’s also lighter.

Russia seems to have just given up on navalized flankers, with land based Su-30SM2s and Su-35s providing maritime patrol capabilities while the Kuznetsov is sinking under refit rusting …existing. Being fair to them they’re not in the position to build carrier based aviation because of their lack of sufficient ports and budget to build aircraft carriers. The second one they could have had is ironically serving in the chinese fleet. Eventually I forsee newly produced 33 style airframes, perchance in the form of the Su-30K or some manner of Su-35K, or if we’re really going that path it would be designated the Su-40 or something.

I’ll be honest I prefer the 29k over the 33, it’s been a while we haven’t got a new 29, plus it would bring more missiles, same radar and a better FM overall.
It also would be more unique than another flanker after the addition of the su-34.
I hope we get both (:

I got decently high hopes for the Su-30SM as the next aircraft after the Su-33.
How is the mig 29 better than the su27 in flight model other than Top speed
I think it’s hilarious that the British tree is going to eventually get Su-30MKI, absolutely love Flankers with canards
Yeah, however now that the Eurofighter is coming that probably won’t happen anytime soon.
Unless Snail gonna make another “round of C&P happiness” and give everyone Su-30 (Su-30SM to Russia, Su-30MKK to China and Su-30MKI for India
thats how I assume they would add the upgraded Su-30s, but I think we are still a year out from getting them
