I think the Su-35 wasn’t really planned for this update; otherwise, we’d see the F-15EX as well. The Su-35 would be an unstoppable beast with the R77M, considering we’ll see it with those missiles soon, since the AIM-120D and PL-15 are in the files.

After all those Chinese players crying over the SU-30SM2 and irritating the entire community by trying to impose their will, the last thing I want is to see my beloved SU-35 in China.

I’d rather the US get 5th generation first than everyone else than see China get Su-35s along with Russia after all this complaining.

Of course, adding it to China before USSR would be disgusting.
That’s not certain, look at the hornets. They added the US and Finnish ones first, then have been using the others as fillers in several patches (even the upcoming one lol, and I bet they’ll keep going).

countries that are direct operators all got their hornets in the same patch, i estimate the same will happen for the Su-35
After one or two updates since the USSR, then maybe they’ll get a taste of their own medicine.

Have to agree with the other person, this sort of attention matters before its full/live addition. Its a very strong aircraft, perhaps a little too strong from apparent testing and doesnt seem to fit the balance. And this video is important at pointing it out.

No, China shouldn’t have the Su-35. They already have another evolved version of the Flanker, the J-16.

There is a difference. Both teams will have Su-30SM2s, while France only has one, meaning the SM2 can’t destroy other aircraft like the Rafale because it has to fight itself, whereas the Rafale can’t. However, I think this update is confusing, because the Typhoon AESA and Gripen E were already the final variants of the 4.5 fighter we received. So why not just go straight to the Su-35S and give the US the F-15EX, China the J-16, and France the Rafale F4? That would be it.
