Judging by Mirage 4000, if there is even one Su-30SM2 with those engines and radar, it’s enough for adding it into the game

Apart from the obvious upgrades the jet is pretty much sloppy, NOT in performance, but rather the model, it doesn’t have any of the correct 3D model features (aside from the under-nose antenna), and the camo is laughable.
Smin stated that the jet is not considered placeholder anymore, if that ugly camo makes it to live it will be hilarious…
Is it? It fixes the main issue of the -30SM with the underpowered engines for its weight. Now it catches up and its thrust vectoring is now more deadly than before. Of course, there is also the new (ish) capability it can have to participate in early game BVR with higher success.
The Rafale C F3R also benefitted from this. Indian Rafales used 8 MICA loadout, so since it technically could do that then the French one received it anyway. Or at least, I’m sure that’s how it went.
This logic can be applied to basically every vehicle in the game (more or less, depending on how Gaijin is feeling about balance that day) so… fun times lol

No I was talking about the 35 there, won’t differ much from the SM2 we just got, but it has a few more interesting tweaks like MAW, LWR and possibly better RWR coverage (not sure on the last one).
Ohhh okay. I mean I’m pretty sure the -30SM2 has MAW too? but other than that -35 has it beat with RWR coverage
There is a report up for it, a radar MAW provided by the IRBIS, that also mean that it’s only front aspect tho.

Why are these people so upset? SM2 is better than Rafale, flying at high altitudes like a damn ghost at tremendous speeds with its sh***y spam of missiles, or F15 with its spam of 120 missiles, which fly quite long distances?. SM2 will still be a medium-close combat machine. Not much will change. When they nerfed the R73, no one got that upset, but now it flies into the rear sphere with one fart of heat traps.

I suspect they chose Su-30SM20 over 35 for the ease of C&P while avoiding the need to give one to the Chinese tree.

I’m sure that, to speed up production due to what’s happening in Eastern Europe, they’re using improved Bars and AL31 engines, but we know that the N035 Irbis and AL41 are planned for aircraft, meaning the platform is capable of supporting them, so it’s not false.
Considering that since the end of 2023 the Russian Air Force has been rapidly modernizing, I’ve seen several new Su-35s, especially Su-34s, which have proven to be incredible aircraft with glide bombs and long-range missiles. There were also 2 or 3 production batches of Su-57s, and I don’t remember the exact number of Su-35s and Su-30s. In short, the VKS is rapidly increasing its numbers, becoming more modern and experienced.
I think the Su-35 wasn’t really planned for this update; otherwise, we’d see the F-15EX as well. The Su-35 would be an unstoppable beast with the R77M, considering we’ll see it with those missiles soon, since the AIM-120D and PL-15 are in the files.

After all those Chinese players crying over the SU-30SM2 and irritating the entire community by trying to impose their will, the last thing I want is to see my beloved SU-35 in China.

I’d rather the US get 5th generation first than everyone else than see China get Su-35s along with Russia after all this complaining.

Of course, adding it to China before USSR would be disgusting.
That’s not certain, look at the hornets. They added the US and Finnish ones first, then have been using the others as fillers in several patches (even the upcoming one lol, and I bet they’ll keep going).
