The reason you might feel the R-77-1 is inferior to the R-27ER is that the launch platform cannot enable the R-77-1 to perform at its full potential. The R-77-1 is the best missile in the game; it has a longer range than the R-27ER and a higher G-load tolerance. The Su-30SM2 equipped with the AL-41F provides an even more incredible launch speed for the R-77-1 and allows for guiding multiple missiles simultaneously. Sticking solely to the R-27ER prevents you from leveraging the full advantages of the Su-30SM2 .

r u Serious bro?MICA and R77-1 have similiar G-load and BVR ability,both have its advantage and not higher than each other too much,so why R77-1 weaker than MICA?

I posted some replays in another thread about the Rafale. The fact is, it’s not impossible, but much more difficult than the others. And besides that, you have a very short window of time to act, which only makes things worse. Even if you defend against a Mica, the Rafale will put you on the defensive while it goes on the offensive, putting you in a difficult position.
the rafale is faster then the flankers? thats why its better mate, the platform makes it better

Now tell me, who stays in BVR for the entire match in War Thunder? The Rafale, because it does BVR the same way. The Rafale is indisputably the best plane in the game, and this talk that the Mica doesn’t have the original range is absurd nonsense. Look at Derby; it receives the same treatment as the Mica for having worse performance? I doubt Rafale players would trade the Seeker buff for range.

The issue now is quite straightforward. If Gaijin continues to selectively ignore the problems with AMRAAM in the game, then even if the F-22 were added immediately, it would undoubtedly be no match for this formidable Flanker.

With the similiar thrust anyone can stay high with high machs and top attack the guys on the ground,even the ef2k and f15e.MICA is a good missile,but R77-1 is similiar,its not R77,u should update ur knowledge
it is, not as you are saying though, i have 200 games in the normal SM, its great but not good as the eurofighter or the rafale, and the new SM2 gonna be the same, better radar sure but only slight speed buff cus of the saturn AL-41S still gonna worse than the tranche 3 because its slower, compress more on higher speed and ETREMELY bad RWR+no MAWS and its 100% gonna be moved to 14.7 or even 15.0 and the whole top tier will be decompressed because its a great jet, just not something game breaking

The M2K is an annoying mini Rafale anyway; it’s only balanced because its platform doesn’t give the Mica the same performance that the Rafale does.
In fact, if the F-22 were added now, its AN/APG-77 radar would essentially be a copy-paste of the AN/APG-79. It would lack the AIM-9X, and while it could maintain stealth against Flanker-class aircraft beyond 50 km, its six AMRAAMs would be no match for the Flanker’s massive payload capacity. Additionally, the AMRAAM in the game features one of the worst-performing seekers and off-boresight capabilities.
