Considering that it still uses the infamous inverted Cassegrain antenna, placing it at 13.7 is already considered too high.
Given Gaijin’s confused understanding of missile performance, it may not recognize that the PL-12 is fundamentally different from the R-77, just as it considers the Python 3 to be a top-tier infrared missile.
Just that the Pl12 is so incredibly potent that it can perform in any given scenario, its a better Aim120 if you will since it sacrafices 30km+ shot performance (which is useless in the current top tier environment anyways) for way better HOBS performance while remaining tied around the mid range mark. Comparing this to the R77 which falls out of the air after like 10kms while only offering a marginal improvement in short range engagements just doesnt sit quite right with me, and let’s not even start with the PL8B vs R73 debate, its not even close, the only downside the PL8 has is the lack of TV (irrelevant unless you end up in a sub 500km/h dogfight). The chinese missile kit is just vastly superior hence why the J11B didnt move to 13.3 last patch, wheras the A did

nah its mainly because its engine and radar, r77 is equivalent to pl12 to gaijin (they consider all fox3 same except r77-1/mica/aim54)

There’s nothing exceptionally strong about the 30MKK here.
There’s nothing pay to win about this… the tech tree stuff is as good and better than this for the BR.

Except that’s not what makes something pay to win.
For something to be pay to win, it has to be better than ALL of the options available.
It’s worse than some 13.7s [F-15s] and as good as some 13.3s [Su-30MK2 and J-11A].
That’s why I complain about 13.3 - 14.0 as a whole having these under-BR’d jets.

For a second, imagine that all of top tier was premium.
How would you identify which jet is the best?
People are going crazy trying to see which is the better jet the Rafale or the su30sm2.
Following your definition how do you arrive at a consensus? Is it via specs? In game performance? Stats?

Not entirely true, the R77-1 was added entirely on the premise that the R77 is vastly inferior and underwhelming, even the R27EA was talked about for some time even after the R77-1 was added, whereas the addition of the PL12A is neither needed nor highly requested since the PL12 is just that competitive
It’s not a MK2 at all, the MKK is the one that has been seen with PL-12’s and PL-8’s.
I’ve edited my first post on here to include my opinion I’ve stated previously on this forum, and on this topic a few times as a response to others.
There are potentially others that should be included.
This take is shared with many people.
Lein, Bonrath, and others’ posts contain awful accusations after people say it should be higher.
Though J-11B is a superior aircraft with a better radar and flight performance over Su-30MKK.

Neither statement says anything related to your preference for Su-30MKK’s BR.
The only purpose of the sentence is for you to be aware you’re making horrific accusations after I’ve made my position on Su-30MKK should be 13.7 clear.
I never said you think it should be higher, and I still don’t believe that.
I personally believe you agree with me that it should be 13.7 and are just unaware.
