SU-30MKK your way to the top

gaijin logics is something abnormal sadly

And? Your point being?
Those are all mega strong in downtiers it’s just that the Su-30 premiums take it to a WHOLE ANOTHER LEVEL.
You get the largest missile payload of those you listed, HMD and a great FM (those by themselves aren’t unique to it at that BR but I’m talking about the whole package here).
All the while an aircraft with basically identical performance ( the Su-27SM) is a step above it and DEFO not weak.
Plus what I said is that yes the 12.3/12.7s suffered badly against 13.3 but getting a premium like that with even better missiles ( saying R-77 = PL-12 is complete and utter blasphemy) makes the pain EVEN WORSE due to incredible spam and MM saturation.
Try to first think about what I’m trying to imply before randomly throwing something my way. Can’t be direct on here anyway cuz any criticism gets taken down, even if it’s constructive and objective thru and thru.

@Bonrath
There’s a reason I mention all of them, not just one.
I don’t just target J-11A, or Su-30MK2, or MKK.
I target every under-BR’d jet 13.3 - 14.0, because they all impact each other.

No idea why it isn’t tech tree.

So it’s just a vastly superior J-11A at the same BR

Even if you push the ENTIRE group up in BR the Su-30MK series is STILL going to stand out.
So what’s the damn point? Not like they consider any feedback anyway.

@Bonrath
The PL-12 is a worse maneuvering missile for better longer range engagements.
R-77 is better suited for medium to shorter ranges.

The radar missiles are mostly a playstyle difference.

PL-8B and R-73 are both short range IR missiles that use FOV reducing IRCCM, like the Magic 2 missile.

techtree could get the mk2 or just jump to j16

Maybe, I’d just rather have it in the tech tree because it would be the perfect jet to have before J-16, plus it wouldn’t add to the premium spam that way.

well cn operates the mk2 also, and with this one being premium, that means less planes to grind before the j16

I just like the Su-30MKK a lot though, one of my fav planes.

In fact, Gaijin has conflated the Su-30MK2 and the Su-30MKK into a single aircraft, and even made it a premium bundle vehicle.

The biggest issue right now is that I can just spend money to get an aircraft equipped with China’s top-tier missiles, which also boasts excellent air combat performance and top-tier CAS capabilities. So then, what’s the point of grinding through the Chinese tech tree at all?

Why is gaijin like this…

at least this is free food for the real top tiers as its a 13.3

But it actually boasts the best CAS capabilities across the entire Chinese tree.

pretty fitting for that tree tbh

it seems all types of fox except mica/r77-1 are the same to gaijin, with no exception when it comes to r77 and pl12

thought id put this here for subjects about premiums

Considering that it still uses the infamous inverted Cassegrain antenna, placing it at 13.7 is already considered too high.
Given Gaijin’s confused understanding of missile performance, it may not recognize that the PL-12 is fundamentally different from the R-77, just as it considers the Python 3 to be a top-tier infrared missile.

Just that the Pl12 is so incredibly potent that it can perform in any given scenario, its a better Aim120 if you will since it sacrafices 30km+ shot performance (which is useless in the current top tier environment anyways) for way better HOBS performance while remaining tied around the mid range mark. Comparing this to the R77 which falls out of the air after like 10kms while only offering a marginal improvement in short range engagements just doesnt sit quite right with me, and let’s not even start with the PL8B vs R73 debate, its not even close, the only downside the PL8 has is the lack of TV (irrelevant unless you end up in a sub 500km/h dogfight). The chinese missile kit is just vastly superior hence why the J11B didnt move to 13.3 last patch, wheras the A did
