Su-30MK2 AMV – Proposal for 13.7 BR with 8× R-77 Loadout Consideration

The Su-30MK2 AMV will probably move up in battle rating in the future because it’s simply too strong in a full downtier. I wanted to know whether the aircraft is capable of carrying eight R-77s (* RVV-AE) like the Su-27SM in the tech tree. If it can, I think it would fit perfectly well at 13.7, as the two extra missiles would be a great addition in longer more drawn out matches.

I’ve been trying to find sources confirming whether it can carry the type of pylon underneath the fuselage. If it can, I’ll submit a bug report and suggest that the aircraft be moved up in battle rating as well. I’d much rather see it at 13.7 with two extra missiles for the sake of the 12.3 aircraft it regularly faces.

Would you like to see the SU-30MK2 AMV moved up to 13.7 with the extra missiles?

*The Su-30MK2 might not be able to carry the dual R-77 pylons because its fire-control system does not support their use… apparently… there’s no public sources saying it can’t. If anyone finds something please let me know.

Probably doesn’t even need the extra missiles

We’d all want it for those complete uptiers, and two extra missiles wouldn’t hurt a fly. It would literally be a heavier SU-27SM.

To be fair, its can be 13.7 right now. No need to add more missile as it cant take any more.

It can get a better missile such as r77-1 but that would be a 14.0 plane.

Do you have a source that it can’t take more than six fox 3s?

It does NOT need 2 more missiles for 13.7

It is already op with 6 in 13.3, moving it up to 13.7 will almost make it balanced. Just look at the j11s and the su27sm. They are 13.7 with same amount of missiles and they stomp their competition that are a equal or lower br.

That may be true for the J-11B, which only carries six Fox-3 missiles, and they should definitely look into that. However, it isn’t true for the Su-27SM. Please check the aircraft’s specifications before making that claim.

The J-11A, which only gets RVV-AEs like the MK2, sits at 13.3 as well.

the j11B sit at 13.7 with 6 fox 3 is because how good the radar is unlike the n001 vep family

Thanks, here’s a higher quality digital version.

also the only proof that the su30mk are able to use 77-1

Unfortunately, the aircraft can’t use the dual pylons because its fire control system doesn’t support them. The Su-27SM can because it received significant upgrades that allow it to carry and use them.

the su27sm we have doesnt exist irl.

If they added this, there would be major backlash. It could end up becoming another M60A1 D.C. Ariete situation, where the vehicle gets buffed and then nerfed again shortly afterward. People who don’t own the aircraft already hate it, and they’d hate it even more if it received two more missiles. This isn’t %100 confirmed. I have to keep digging.

digging info for Su27sm3 is like looking for water in the desert, good luck.
