Well at least It’s better than the ones we have in wt by a mile
Which is laughable.
Reading the devblog replies on the forum for Su-27SM you’d think Gaijin implemented a win-button, instead of a bar of soap falling out the sky after trivial maneuvering.
same with SARH, Late non-IRCCM IRH and Early ARH missiles
they’re ungodly OP for like 3 weeks and then everyone knows how to deal with them and they become less relevant
theyll just hug the ground no need to learn how to fight them
early Rafales and typhoons use AMRAAMs, the Typhoons and Rafales currently use meteors in service
Rafale never used AMRAAM
then take that up with alvis too, point is Meteors are more modern, the eariler Fox-3s are waht we will likely see on them when they come
Russia will get R-77M Britain and Europe at that point should get Meteors
nah it’s cope dude
The Su-27 first entered service in 1985- the base variant, not this- I’m joking that the US is using an Airframe that is much older (the F-15s first service entry was in 1976, almost 10 years earlier). I’m not expecting F-22s or F-35s, but I am a little surprised that the C is coming and not the E since the E would be more time appropriate for the Su-27SM (entered service in 2002, as shown by article) since at least the E variant entered in 1988. But hey, goes to show you just how far behind Russian air was (and is) in capability compared to NATO counterparts.
F-15E will be better in A2G, but much worse in A2A than F-15C/Su-27SM.
Fair, but I see no reason as to why both couldn’t have arrived at the same time
F-15C if it gets HMD you can count it as 2007?(I am not sure exact year but it is past 2000)
Also Soviet Aviation had some achievements aswell, main problem they had was corruption, not to mention a lot of projects were scrapped due to lack of funds and later on the dissolution of the country.
Russia may not have the best equipment in the world, but that doesn’t mean is far behind NATO
This is what I have been thinking. It would only make sense to have something on par with it.
You serious? Its ok, the F-15C is enough.
Or maybe more preferably the D variant because that was the stronger air air version.
The Su-27SM gets a strong CAS loadout and a kilometric ton of hardpoints for R-77s, The F-15C only gets three hardpoints for 2000lb guided bombs, of course it isn’t enough.
F-15E sholdn’t be an issue within a minor update, as the next logical step for the US in a major update is the F/A-18.
F15C will carry 2 more radar missiles than the SU27SM
Was never a problem when it was US multiroles being added with dedicated fighters for the other trees. But now the shoes on the other foot and its suddenly a big issue?
Not sure why you think the US tree deserves not only 1 incredible top tier jet but 2 in the same update.
So yeah, the F-15C is enough.
