Su-25 Radiometric warning

I noticed the Su-25 has a “Radioactive” warning in the starboard side of the nose, which is usually shown to be a radar-radioisotope warning, but the Su-25 doesn’t have a radar. So what is it, does anyone know? Does it have to do with the Laser indicator?

Anyone with docs or anything to back up what it is would be greatly appreciated.

Probably for the Prichal laser rangefinder/target designator

So the Schkval? No, that’s the one on the Su-25T/TK.

Looked it up, apparently it’s called the Klen-PS system. Su-17/22 use it too.

Thank God at least the Su-39/25T has a targeting pod with a camera, the Mercury, because this internal targeting designator is terrible.

Do you mean Mercury or Schkval? Bceause Schkval was used in the KA-50, and the Mercury was tested on the Ka-50 as well.
