Does it not get a2g missles? Trying to use guided bombs in top tier GRB is basically suicide. Even if you spend the time climbing to space to out range SPAA, you are gonna eat a fox 3 now.
Id also say from expierence ive died to a gbu about 3 times for every 100 times ive died to an agm playing 11.7 germany recently. They just dont work.
Pretty sure it had kh-25 and kh-29 on the dev stream, as for gbu’s they’re defintitely less reliable than agm’s but it also think using them is kind of an art
nice, I just saw them showing off the gunpods and the bombs, gunpods looked fun. Did they show the value for AP rounds?
idk tbh, but if theyre 30mm it should be more than enough to kill soviet/russian tanks at least

I tried everything with the 11.7 BR Tornado. These GBU#s are impossible to use at higher up BRs in GFRB. Its simply not possible vs SAM units.
You often see 10.X-ish strike jets or similar early GBU carriers doing successful work. But as soon as there’s a good missile SPAA, you won’t make successful GBU runs.
Its so pointless that they shouldn’t add a pure GBU jet at BR higher than maybe 10.7 BR. Everything above needs F&F missiles or at least F&F bombs. Anything which requires you to fly above the battlefield and hold a laser lock a lenghty time is suicidal. Waste of spawn points.

It is possible. Its kind of better as Tronado because of Kh-29TE which can launched from 15km to stationary targets like SAM units.
Sadly F&F weapons like TV Bombs and Kh-29TE work only below 6km distance on moving targets, that decrease the effencity alot. Laser Guided Bombs can be released from 15km with Travel time of nearly 40 sec. In addition, you have to turn ur plane to go for the secound round it takes alot of time for only one kill mostly u get 0-3 kills with GBU´s in a perfect match. But u are untouchable or hard to hit for nearly all SAM´s
