i´m trying in the testground to lock on planes and vehicels with the radar. But it doesnt work although the radar has detected a target and is selected.
In the first secound of the video he got a lock on on a plane and at 1:37 on a ground vehicle. What keybinding is that.
Maybe the testground is bugged had that senario multiple times that the radar doesnt work correctly there.

Locking keybind is the same, have you checked for the search method? For example the F-2A ADTW have a SRC SEA mode to lock on vessels specifically or targets at sea level.
The radar doesn’t have the ability to lock targets, it can only “slave” the targeting camera to the selected target
Doesn’t work, tried it out at least in test flight it won’t slave the laser, su39 kopyo works fine.
Also isn’t this thing supposed to have a tracking radar and PD modes like the su39?
That is what i mean, that the camera is targeting the target. How to get it?
Possibly bugged as I can’t get it to work with heli radars either
No, unlike the Su-39 the radar cannot get a lock. It only tells the TGP where to look
That im trying to get. That the laser is just pointing to the position. Not a realy lock on in that case
Thought that little radar thing was the track, turns out its the ground avoidance thing not modeled in game. Still wonder if it should have PD mode, would be nice for slinging kh25 at people in air modes lol, given the slaving works.
The TGP can barely see upwards
Ya you just keep you nose above targets, it works surprisingly well, kh25 accelerates pretty much like a sparrow if not faster. Doesn’t pull but cant be chaffed or notched. Its good for killing low energy planes within 8km or people that just fly straight like base bombers and people that just try to run away within 4km. And even if these miss from a bit of high aspect ive killed a lot of guys with the splash from it hitting the ground below them.
Having a pd radar to slave the laser would make the process a little easier since you aren’t swapping views and dealing with finnicky locks sometimes.
Su39/su25sm3/mig27(one with the tpod is it K?) Have probably been some of the most fun ive had in arb recently slinging agms at planes.
