Stupid @live and @psn

The issue is the PSN and the live store, as they do not allow things like the market place and transactions, this is why the game makes this distiction, steam doesnt put anywhere close the same terms as the console store does.

Also iirc consoles often requires this tags or to separate the player base in some form on crossplatforms games, as all transactions has to go trought their shop.

I don’t care whether someone plays on console or PC either but almost every single time I see too many console players on my team, I end up losing miserably. Instead of dealing with that I just don’t spawn in. The only exception is naval which is a crapshoot no matter the platform.

Simple solution here: Make Crossplay an Opt out option :D As almost any other PvP game it does.

@psn means that it is a playstation player
@live means it is a xbox player

Its an accepted Bug

What do you gain by making stuff up?

If you’re going to claim this, perhaps assess the median level of both console and PC players at the bottom of the leaderboard, and you’ll find the issue is noobs as opposed to people on a console

The one point I can see corroborating their claim is Mouse Aim is much more viable in a furball than Simplified joystick. Joystick (whether it’s virtual, real or a proper flight stick), if you can fly without instructor, is better for a 1 vs 1 scenario.

Mostly due to ability to make stabilized ~1km long shots, especially in head-ons vs ability to precisely control your flight surfaces and push your plane to the 99% of critical AoA rather than instructor limitations.

I feel folk playing ARB and AAB with controller would be well-served just coming straight to sim for a more equal experience.

LMAO my post got removed because someone got pissed i made a joke about targeting console players, how fragile are you?

FYI I don’t care about these tags, I go for targets that are close or that make sense, regardless of the platform they play on.

Why are you so triggered? This is my personal experience. Does it emotionally or physically damage you in any way if I don’t bother spawning in a team with too many console players? Go meditate or something

Why bother? It’s not going to change the eventual outcome of those matches.

I’m not triggered, you’re clearly lying.
It’s not wrong to call that out when you see it

I have garnered far more personal utility out of mouse aim + WASD than I used to on a controller, in fact (as you said) the only place where i would still prefer controller over KBM is SIM controls, as its more fluid, however a keyboard is also necessary for all the keybinds (unless you min-max everything)

KBM is also necessary for Air RB in order to maximise freelook and situational awareness, since I find a lot of other console players I fight are typically far more tunnel visioned as a result of the poor ergonomics of free looking on a controller

Don’t make blatantly false and misinforming claims then

which makes mockery of console players doubly stupid since most will probably be using a M+KB setup anyway.

I must ask how come you find this to be the case? I tried to play Sim a good while back and key-binding the controls was simple enough, but the case with pitching was that it wasn’t relative, where it was either no pitch, or 100% pitch and flying was quite a chore set up this way

This only applies to jets btw, I have zero experience in sim props, but as far as a trimmed SAS capable top tier jet, I find the additional range of motion available through a joystick, combined with the lifted burden of keybinds being placed onto my keyboard (allowing for a smoother free look, and only essential, combat required keybinds on the controller, similarly to a flight stick)

@Minimann333-live go check out Nimbal (on YouTube) to see the hybrid sim setup in action, since he makes really good use of it

What makes you so sure I’m lying? You check every single one of my games and teams in the last 5 years? If you’re not triggered how come you’re taking it so personally and still replying?

Prove that my statements are false. Go into my games history, pull out every single air RB match for the last 3 years, go through each team and see how many times having too many console players on my team resulted in a miserable loss. I’m relaying my personal experience and telling you why the current method of explicitly showing the number of console players on my team helps me determine whether or not I should spawn into a game. As for the enemy team, it doesn’t matter since I go after targets of opportunity anyway. Don’t like it? Deal with it

And I’m asking for verifiable factual evidence for your claim, because without it you just look a bit pathetic and relegated to a ‘grr console bad’ echo chamber.

I’m guaranteeing you right now, that the bottom percentile of your bad teams are simply low levels, their platform has little to no effect compared to game experience

Awesome thank you

The only thing pathetic here is you for failing to see the basic fact that looking at the bottom percentile is meaningless. So I look at a bunch of hoity toity numbers. Whooptie doo. What does it change? I join a game, see too many console players, play anyway, lose miserably. I’ve lost time and SL on repairs for nothing. Either make it worth my while or mind your own business.
