The stat card armor values never mean anything.
They’re almost always wrong initially for new vehicles, i don’t know why but they’ll be fixed in the next couple bug updates I would assume, they normally are. Same for penetration, the Christian II shows DM13 pen instead of DM23 for some reason (since they don’t get DM12 HEAT-FS)
huh ? what do you mean with dm33 pen ? O.o
The German leopard shows the pen of their stock round (or would be stock round for the Pzbtl), which is DM12 with 480mm pen.
The Swedish Leopards don’t have DM12, but use DM13 stock, so it shows the pen of that round.
Sorry, wrong round, meant DM23
Maybe if it’s name is Strv 121B Buddha II then it’s going to be better than the German ones.
The premium Leopard 2 from Germany and Sweden are almost identical. The funny thing is that the Swede has half the smoke grenades of the German, but is more expensive.
About the Galix system, what is the real advantage? I have both tanks, and having half the smoke grenades is a huge disadvantage for the Strv 121b, especially in this BR (with so many drones and helicopters).
Can someone explain this to me? Did I miss something, or do gamers in general have idiotic faces?
I have no idea what argument you’re referring to. GALIX has an integrated LWS, only problem is we dont know if the Swedes paid for that part when they bought Galix. Additionally irl its armor to protect the smoke from small arms. In warthunder it doesn’t work and should be fixed.
I mean, in Warthunder, the GALIX offers no advantages over the 2A4. On the contrary, having half the smoke grenades is actually a disadvantage. What kind of tank upgrade is that?
Not to mention it’s usd 5 more expensive than its German counterpart. Hell, even the wood covering the engine in the German Leopard offers more advantages than the GALIX system.
Again LSW but we dont know if the swedes paid for the LSW functionality on it. It definitely serves a purpose but i can almost feel that it probably doesn’t have one because its incorrectly implemented.
You mean the laser warning system? Because the Strv 121B we have in the game doesn’t have that…
I would have preferred to have 16 smoke grenades instead of 8 “paper armored” grenades… and I would still have 5 more dollars in my pocket lol

I just found the answer to my question. Gaijin replied that we should get fuc*ed.
8 fewer smoke grenades for $5 more. It sounds like a consumer joke, but it’s real.

Makes a bit more sense, tbf again i personally dont need more than 1 or 2 smokes to make it through a game with 5 or more kills but if i decide to play more aggressive i might need it.
