I’ve been starting to get into Naval, and the new update gave me more reason to grind it. But then I remember why I stopped playing it

Its because the jump from cruiser to battleships is abysmal. I’ve been grinding for weeks only to reach halfway of the research point needed for my first battleship and its just suffocating

9/10 you’d be paired up into a lobby thats full of battleships, and playing the royal navy where the best shell you got as a cruiser is an 8 inch saphe with 270mm pen at point blank it just seems like an impossible task.

My main method is to pick off AI ships, but at most I could pick off 2 or 3 before getting demolished by the battleships, and the fact that most maps I get is the one where you spawn 20km away from the enemy isn’t helping, Its even harder to pick off the AI ships and straight up impossible to even scratch a battleship.

Does anyone have like a grinding tip for naval? like is there an easier way to grind or do I just have to suck it up and go through with it

And what is wrong with that? At least you are getting full reward for AI ships now.

I mean it works but just not optimal, as I mentioned I’ve grinded for weeks only to gain half of the rp needed for it, thats why I’m asking if theres a better way to grind because this is just not a fun thing to do

Only way to speed things up is to buy premium time.

Also you might want to look at the BR of your linup - if you have multiuple BR’s available then use the lowest BR in your top tier to help avoid BB’s.

You dont’ have to use your brand new 6.0 to grind the next tier if you have a couple of spaded 5.7’s available.

As he says use the tier below to try and research the next upper tier to at least get a lineup and that will hopefully limit the amount of full uptiers.
Otherwise Premium time or vehicle, thats the only other way I know of.
Do the Dailys for the wagers?
