I know what was said in QnA, i was talking about your perspective. Because what is said in QnA is just completely untrue. Only reason why there isn’t a giant gap in performance is because there is just much more players on US jets and their skill level on average is lower than skill of people playing USSR.

The desperation comes from new and veteran players that have players all the ww2 stuff now, and are now bored of what we have had for ages, and we are now looking for new additions just like enjoyers of modern vehicles. Its not a case of we have no vehicles, no. Its a case of there is no reason to play currently. Sure we have vehicles, but ive played them so much im bored with them.
Top tier is horrible as it stands, nothing fun about it, rank V is the last tier before everything goes to crap gameplay wise.

If everyone has the mindset of “there’s no reason to play but to grind”, then War Thunder is doomed… what happened to just playing for fun?

Personal preference. To me, it’s the opposite. Find 90% of my fun at the very Top Tier. You can’t just state an opinion like it’s an absolute and objective truth…

So i mean. Vehicles with a feature that stands out from its vehicles in that tech tree, not what makes it stand out from all nations.
But sure if a tech tree has variants that makes line-ups that it desperatly needs. it should definetly get added, like the Strv m/42 that had 2-3 variants, that could be foldered and gotten a line-up, or the strv m/41 with a smoke launcher, that could be a foldered vehicle with the normal m/41,

So you wanted to be competitive at BVR while trashing them in inevitable furballs ? Sounds really balanced to me.
Their biggest advantage could be outright nullified by using a single braincell and flying relatively low to the ground.
