Now it just turns into a nation main whinefest every update after the dev server opens.

You can use the range, they fly to target point with IOG. And now that you can set target point with the minimap it’s possible to stay behind terrain cover until the last 10-15s of terminal lasing, making it harder for SAMs to intercept or notice them.
Edit: new French thingies also have the same laser range at present

any weapon on it is great
AASM Hammer is in its historical configuration just as Brimstone SAL is. We have no intention of creating a fictional weapon.

the difference is that the Brimstone SAL doesn’t exist, there is not a single version of the brimstone that only uses SAL, they could’ve at least made it like a maverick for the time being, but decided to gimp it instead

It very much does exist as a historical mode of Brimstone Dual Mode. We already have other weaponary locked to a singular mode of operation in game.
This allows it to have historical performance and come to the game, rather than not at all.

Not at all. Like other weapons in game, it’s simply limited to one of its historical modes of operation.
It’s been explained numerous times why it’s other modes cannot currently come to the game and we have no intention of giving it fictional performance.
