I mean the aircraft isn’t going to let that happen, losing an engine in a fight might make things really awkward, but if they can bother to spend the time fixing the instructor mode for all Flankers, and then spending the time needed to implement the automatic recovery feature for the Su-30SM, I’d imagine it should be right as rain.
I still am not hopeful for a relevant TVC fix for the R-73 any time soon however. Lol.
Yeah, Compression has really screwed them over. I’ve got a Talisman on the GR1 ready for the bulk of the Typhoon grind. but im tempted to stick one on the GR4 instead as its just a more pleasant airframe

Still just as exciting for me. If it’s true, and it’s in the pipeline, that means it’s coming at some point. I got back into WarThunder almost three years ago because I knew we were getting closer to more advanced airplanes, and I’ve literally just been waiting for the Su-30SM and Su-30SM2 the whole time. Everything else has been enjoyable filler.
The only non-PESA N011 Bars radar is the original N011 which was fitted on and tested for the Su-27M. Technology developed rapidly, and by the time they were ready to deploy the Su-35, it was already at the N011M level (afaik) and the N035 followed soon after.
Su-30SM will come with the N011M Bars, which is a “hybrid” PESA, it’s a bit smarter than a typical PESA and has AESA-like capabilities, however it is not a true AESA radar. That is the next radar there are no half steps in-between. From there we’re on to Irbis-E (N035), and that will be the main radar of both the Su-30SM2 and Su-35.
Hopefully the devs take their time with the Su-30SM. Ideally, as they workout the kinks to give the Su-30SM it’s proper reveal, as bug free as possible, and as capable as possible, they’ll spend more time in the code for the Su-27’s flight models in general. Best outcome here is Flanker FM’s get entirely reworked, and TVC on the Su-30SM is a worthy addition. They say we don’t need R-77-1 yet, and that it would be too OP. If that’s the case, then I hope they’ll address the drag issues on the R-77 so we have something a little more viable than we have now.
I agree. I think it would be super fun to do SEAD/DEAD missions in EC or even plain ARB. I do enough ground attack in that game mode (vehicle depending) anyways, so something with a little more flavor is always welcome.

If they fix one, they’re bound to fix the others (Magic 2 and R-73). Just more hope/cope until then I guess. Lol.

Yeah, was my hope when they added Magic 2 and R-73. The fact none have been fixed is really funny (and a tad depressing)
And China has only two missiles on the top attack aircraft. Who else would complain.

I mean, the recently added Chinese SPG has full turret spall liners, so no reason why the PzH2000 wouldn’t also get them with time
I hope there’s some other jets hiding for this update because dear god nobody stands a chance against the 15E, Rafale, and Typhoon.

Ngl what bugs me more is that now I have to pay full price for the AJ if I want to use it, if I don’t then I have to grind 400,000+ RP and even more SL.

@Smin1080p_WT I think someone already asked this, but I think I’m speaking for a part of the community, by any chance, can the BMD-4M be a tech tree vehicle instead of a premium vehicle?
Relating to that, I’m wondering what the oil refinery test will centre around. There 's already a few singleplayer missions that have bombing zones different from the normal minibases and airfields, such as the Norway mission where you have to destroy the submarine pen.
There was also the " Ruhr Angels " event rerun earlier this year, which had asymmetric airspawns and a non-conventional bombing zone. Maybe something similar to that is being developed for regular matches or WWM scenarios.
