Gaijin’s main marketing team is based in Karlsruhe Germany, meaning that most of the devstreams/devblogs are scheduled for that time zone. It’ll probably be at least 5 or 6 hours before we get any more news. (It’s 3AM there right now)

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they just made an entire update of giving hornets to everyone all in one go, super or otherwise.
Im pretty sure it got delayed because of the F-15E, nobody really wanted the strike eagle to come when it did and everyone was clamoring for rhe hornets but noooo, gaijin had to justify the addition of the SU-34 and its 6 kh-38s

i was looking for the F-15E , althought i’m not american , and therefor am not biassed towards getting said F-18 (i was actualy HOPING we would not get it this year, but the start of next year)
does that mean i expected both Typhoon and Rafale , absolutly not

We already had 2 F-15s before the Strike Variant. A Hornet would’ve been a nice new flavor further diversifying the tree. As mid as everyone says it is, a lot of people would’ve been perfectly fine with it including me because not every new thing needs to be meta-defining. Though im not against the addition of the Typhoon and Rafale

Makes me wonder if the EFT/Rafale will be nerfed or if the F18’s will over perform
Neither hopefully, one F-15E/I and J(M) get moved up to 14.0, with eft and rafale, C hornet would be a 13.7 jet
well you se here i consider it to actualy be meta breacking
althought i will specify that i also expected booth Typhoon and Rafale to show up AFTER it , since they are more capable platform’s than said F-18
i hoped for : F-18 early 2025 , Typhoon + Rafale Fall 2025
expected : F-18 early 2025 , Typhoon mid 2025 , Rafale Winter 2025 /early 2026
as you can tell , none of those 2 above came true

Honestly thats what makes me wonder is if stuff like the gripen C will stay 13.7 or move up to 14.0, imo they definitely aren’t on par with the F15E or the new jets depending on how they handle. 4 ARH and slow climb is pretty brutal
Honestly i’m wicked excited for this update. Typhoon, J11B, J10B, and Su33 are all things I was looking forward too!
One thing I am missing however is the return of carrier spawns in Air RB, I need those back please.
Will be nice to see finland get a F-18, though I hope they also slip in some low/mid tier ground and air vehicles for sweden.
Best case they finally give us the F-35 or J35Ö.
I feel like it got delayed to bring EFT for Germany first.
Seems like initially it was going to be a naval themed update with Su-33, F-18A/C, Rafale, etc. But that got scrapped to bring EFT forward which would make less sense to add F-18 now (since it adds F-18 to sweden and germany)
The JAS39C only having six missiles and a worse TWR than things like the Typhoon and F-15E/I makes me think that if 14.0 is to come, it’ll stay at 13.7.
The Rafale coming is the C, not the M.
Just had a thought, we really need to buy @Smin1080p_WT and @magazine2 some umbrellas. We’ve had some really bad weather in war thunder the last 2 major updates first fire and brimstones and now Typhoons

Idk, sweden is dead essentially. Gaijin really screwed up the gripens so after the E there is nothing, guess maybe F-35 but again i feel gaijin will leave sweden without a top tier fighter for a while before adding the E. Once theres essentially nothing left a lot of players will stop grinding it since it wont get anything new top tier wise, idrc all i want are Drakens and the J35Ö will most likely go to Germany lest it starts another forum war
