Probably to give UK/Germany an equivalent to the AASM Hammer, since it’s basically a GBU with a rocket motor and IR guidence (it’s F&F), so I’m presuming Brim 2s will be just F&F IR Brim 1s statwise.

But the platform cant use them. Germany Typhoons currently cant carry or launch brimstones and are working on integrating that with the help of the UK. I dont know the key details as to why but they are waiting till they or the UK upgrade there typhoons which i saw would be complete in the next year.
Hopefully german mains will stop trying to anschluss Switzerland for their F/A-18 now that they got an EF at least

just we dont need it for CAS anymore, now its only a niche vehicle for people to play that like it

surely that wont happen and gaijin wont give italy, germany and france amazing versions with great CAS loadouts then limit the UK to an A2A only version with the exact same A2A laodouts as the other EFTs surely
