Aim7F/m aren’t even comparable by any means, jets didn’t and couldn’t change in any meaningful way, the only possibility would be if stealth was actually effective, but nothing can stop an IR missile, even if you have a lower engine temperature, Python 5 has an electro-optical capability too, but it’s absolutely irrelevant whether you fly a rocket or a Mig17 because you cannot dodge missiles already, what difference does it make??
Players will always get used to it, ofc a lot of people complain about the addition of better weapons, some don’t even know how to use the already in-game ones, you can’t cut the fun cuz of others that can just stick out to a lower tier if they aren’t capable of coping with better IR missiles, not like every fight is already at over 10-15kms and everyone knows Gaijin will never model the boosters correctly on IRs…

I think that if they want a similar dev server as the first 3 updates of the year, with updates to said dev server over time, they almost have to open the dev server tomorrow or wednesday. At the very latest thursday.
I can definitely see a Wednesday teaser and Thursday stream and server

In sim it was always useless. No IFF on the radar makes it a pain to use.
I’d say no all aspect’s isn’t so bad but that IFF issue…
But if you play it well you can use it up to that rank. A new rank won’t be very populated yet so if you use whatever TT vehicle on top of rank 8 is there you get a 10% bonus + bonus when spading modules. Usually that is quite decent combined.

I have pumped the entire air tech tree of China. But if they add rank 9, I can’t grind it on 7d anymore. And without the j7d, I will grind a rank 9 aircraft until retirement. I feel like crying.
Your J-7D will work at 40% efficiency, times 2 for a premium = 80%
A TT unspaded vehicle will be 110% + rewards for spading (research wise, don’t need to buy modules) which is easily 100k or so.
Just spade whatever vehicle comes before it and by the time thats done the rank 9 one will be unlocked.
Premium, and most other, bonuses stack but they don’t compound.

If yes then premium aircraft only gives 25% difference, relatively.
You can still grind with it
You will “only” grind as fast as with a normal non-premium T8
but you will avoid the top tier “gameplay”
Silver is not a problem. The problem is with the research glasses. ☹️
For a rank 2 difference, there is a 70 percent penalty on experience. I’ll be getting pennies.
I dont mind needing to unlock X many vehicles in a rank before moving onto the next one. But Research effeciency really needs to go.
I hate not being able to unlock lower tier vehicles (especially new vehicles) in whatever I want to play and yeah, things like Talismans and Premiums becoming obsolete for grinding new top tier stuff should be considered a bit of a scam

You will get a research debuff because you’re researching a tier too high, but you will still grind research points about as fast as if you were using a non-premium tier 8 plane, but without having to suffer through the top tier gameplay
Do the premiums have a multiplication of 2 times? Really? Since when? 🤨
