What are those outer pylon missiles
Most likely 6x SRAAM + 4x MRAAM or 2x SRAAM + 6x MRAAM.
I wouldnt count on a 6+6 or 4+6 loadout until a later variant. I dont think an 2+8 loadout is even possible
ASRAAM, which won’t be added this patch as too advance but the arrangement is the same for AIM-9s
Right, so same load out, anything on TWR and engines?
Should be a better CAS right? GRB 13.0 maybe, time to decompress, not really reasonable to have it same BR as J11A and F15J(M).
I think they were replying to someone saying that the Eurofighter with 12 missiles wouldn’t be a problem because the Su-27(SM) also has 12 missiles in game.
You guess in new trailer show Rafale with domestic french precistion-guided munition Safran AASM Hammer ?
Doubt it, doesn’t it have like 50-70km range?
Not realistically when used in game, but yes, way beyond the pittyful 12 KM of anything but Pantsir.
TWR varies depending on source and laodout.
Typhoon is somewhere between 1.15 and 1.4
Rafale I think is about 1.3 (im guessing that is without load)
(dont quote me on those though)
Britain Typhoon F2. No CAS worth mentioning. If Germany and Italy get CAS on their first Typhoon it wil be 6-8 GBUs. Likely ePaveways in differing sizes. Nothing to right home about.
Rafale, no idea, but between the 2, Rafale is the better CAS aircraft.
In the future, things like the Tyhpoon FGR4 adds Brimstone 2s and then we are at the mercy of Gaijins modeling.
Given that it doesnt really matter whether you bring an 11.3 like a Tornado ASSTA1 or an Su-34 as CAS, you will fight the same aircraft at top tier GRB. GRB BR for it doesnt really seem relevant to me at the moment, not until a decent decompress
For Germany it will be good option, instead of tornado.
Yeah, it would. though I would hope Britain got the Typhoon FGR4 sooner rather than later if Germany and italy did get CAS this update.
Don’t ya worry, we have PGM in game. To say the 40 km (they never reach) is too low is like not saying at all.
All must have their eurofighter, if they work on it. At least we get mostly equals. CAS option needed, because in comparison with Britain, Germany have minimum options.
2(two) more than the F-15, same amount of AMRAAMs, you’re acting like your jet is going to be completely hopeless, which it isn’t, your just going to have to use your brain just like everyone else.
That is quite a big range lol? From what I see with 9 tonne per engine it should be something like 1.5-1.6 empty right? Considering the 11 tonne or so empty weight.
Rafael slightly less 7.5 per engine and 10 tonnes of weight. So around 1.4, similar to J10 and JAS39.
Yep, which is why I dont mind it coming later for Britain, but at hte same time. Typhoon vs Tornado Gr4 would suck for CAS performance if we had to wait a year+.
At a minimum though, Gr7 and Gr4 could both get some long overdue buffs to keep Britain going, especially as CAS is basically the only thing carrying Britain at top tier GRB at the moment
Yeah, some sources say 1.15 with a weapons load but i’ve also seen 1.4 mentioned I think. So im not sure, either way, it is a positive TWR and can reach supersonic on dry heat.
The important thing to note is that the 60kn or 90kn on reheat of the EJ200 is the static thrust.
Sotra? More like all nations should have tags, and not just sub-trees.
Ex: the modern UK would have(as far as I know):
- Commonwealth
- NATO
Or the US:
- NATO
- NORAD
Just what GRB needs… Another top tier with 50+ km range weapons that can’t be countered by any anti air
EDIT: In case you have doubts, this was addressed in latest CM Covert Disclosures

Q: In Ground Realistic Battles, top attack aircraft are capable of dominating ground vehicles for the most part. Are there any plans to do something about this in 2025?
A: According to our data, the balance at the top ranks of ground battles is noticeably shifted towards aviation and helicopters, and this balance has become even worse with the introduction of top aircraft this year. The situation where aircraft can attack tanks from a safe distance with impunity makes gameplay more boring for aviation and less fair for ground vehicles, a similar situation is with helicopters equipped with long-range fast ATGMs, or “fire-and-forget” ATGMs.
To counter these types of threats, more powerful systems are needed that have the ability to fire at several targets at once and a wide search sector in both azimuth and elevation. The most advanced SAM system currently presented in the game only partially meets these requirements, so we’ll move towards heavier systems for all nations, including those components of which are located on several chassis. Of course, we’ll have to solve the problem of controlling these types of SAM systems, but we’re already having thoughts on the matter.
In turn, there are plans to add new capabilities for aircraft. And while we do not consider anti-radiation missiles (ARM) a priority and necessity, more advanced capabilities of ESM from on board an aircraft, i.e. more accurate determination of the active radar position, are in our fairly close plans.
