F117 has absolutely zero combat credibility, its slow, it has limited range, it has limited payload, it has absolutely no combat credibility whatsoever.
The B2/21 are the same story but they are the natural evolution with actual deep-strike and modern stealth capability but no fighter characteristics.
Also there’s a big difference between 1st generation stealth projects like the F-117 and EADS MAKO and 2nd generation stealth projects like the F-22/23/35 Su-57, J-31 etcetera.

ok so what, he was talking about the fact that somehow all jets need to look the same just because stealth and whatever, it doesnt matter and they didnt have to copy the design, what the chinese actually did was copy the design outright so they will know 100% that at least the shape its ok, all tho the materials and contruction are also vital
the F-117 is much older using earlier technology and heavily relied on the airframe edges alone for its stealth
the others are also purely bombers why would they look like fighters

The F-117 was an extremely early design and not a fighter and the B-2/B-21 are strategic bombers, not fighters

IT PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH THAT THE j-20 doesn’t have cannon armament. I feel like crying. A highly maneuverable fifth-generation fighter, it can do nothing in close combat. Horror.

The J-31 has an excellent design. It was as if the F-22 conceived a child from the F-35 and turned out to be a baby with the appearance of a Hollywood model.
It doesn’t need a cannon when over 90% of the time you’ll be slinging PL-15s and defending.
And plus, cannon is much harder to use in real life compared to a video game. PLAAF doesn’t design fighters for video games.
It has HMD + PL-10 for close-up encounters.
