Storm Warning - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

They’ve already said they’re still working on vapor effects for some planes, including the geometric-wing planes.

Ah, I missed it then

When Smin said that the F-16AJ wouldn’t be removed, one of the reasons he gave is that the Thai F-16A would be in a separate line in the tech tree. The entire Thai line is likely a continuation from the R2Y2 line.

Tornado F.3 Early 9L + Super temp

Tornado F.3 Late 9M + 120B

Tornado F.3 well Aged 9M + 120C5

Tornado F.3 Grand Reserve ASRAAM + 120C8

Why would you think it’ll be after the R2Y2s and not the middle line that ends in tier 4?

Because this is likely the update where they will remove the R2Y2s since we are getting multiple early dumb bomb jets that fill the same role. There are also still a few more twin engine heavy fighters Japan can get after the Ki-83 like the Ki-93 and the Ki-98 wouldn’t be out of place there either.

In that case, only the attackers would go there.

None of which would be above tier 4.

If it doesn’t make sense for the F-16 and Gripen to be in the attacker line, then it doesn’t really make sense for them to be in the twin engine heavy fighter line either. It just makes sense to keep the line together since you would just force one line to end at rank 6 then slap a random rank 7/8 in a different line. Also the point of adding Thai aircraft is to give Japan ground attackers, so it just makes more sense to put the best jets Japan has for ground attack in the line of attack light bombers than with a bunch of high alt interceptors.

The main point being that there is still potential additions for the line while the R2Y2 is basically dead with almost no future domestic additions, so it needs to get populated somehow. Even the G8N1 line can get the Ki-91, P-3C, and P-1 in the future. I guess the R2Y2 line could get the S2F, PV-2 P2V-7 and P-2J, but those also wouldn’t go above rank 4 either and likely not even above Rank 3 the first two and that only really populates it as much as the heavy fighter line already is.

It doesn’t make sense for the Alpha Jet E to be in France’s second fighter line. It doesn’t make sense for the F-100D to be in France’s attacker line. It doesn’t make sense for the J-10A to be in the Taiwanese fighter line. Yet they still are.

That does not change the fact that the F-5s, F-16A OCU, and JAS39C are not attackers.

None of which would be above tier 4.

F-5/F-16/Gripen etc in the third line, with stuff like Alpha Jet and A-7 being in the 4th mayhaps?
or could they squeeze it all in the third?)

only when it suits them, and for guiness book of records of course

Yes of course they are, them nothing will be off limits.

They will chuck everything plus the kitchen sink at this money generating behemoth.

Gaijin already made it clear that they are keeping it in 1 line. If they weren’t then the F-16A and Gripen would just go with the AJ. They aren’t going to chop off the top 2 planes and put them in a different line.

Neither are they twin engine heavy interceptors. But they attack tanks better than they have have twin engines or are heavy.

Doesn’t matter. They are still end of the line additions that will attract players to the line naturally without having to do some random split of the Thai line. Keeping the Ki-83 line open also leaves space for a 2nd future nation without it ending in 2 random Thai jets.

Yeah nah, mate.

SPYDER AIO should’ve been in game for quite a while now, you already had my cope before the offer

Most likely, assuming the CAS puts where the CAS are.

Not even joking, when they add this, i’m taking a week of work just to live and breathe it.

wish we dont need to work in future when AI is here

Why stop at work
