I mean when you lack good tanks CAS can make up for it, its one of the few things the UK has since during the coldwar they focused on CAS as they didnt expect to have a major ground presence

At least at some stage; either F18 comes to just US with the rest in a later rollout or all at once. My prediction is it gets the Aussie one but comes with a Canadian skin since they were the same.
