Not a bad idea depending on how its implemented, mostly about its ammo. I cant find info about the enhanced Ukranian rounds so its probably 3BM42 and thats 11.3 capable already - for something with the armor thats much better than T-80s. I have heard rumors that it can fire DTC-10E on the VT4, but lacks any proof and I doubt thats actually the case. But if that is the case its more than good at 12.0, something with the armor better than T-80BVM and T-90M at the cost of a bit worse pen.

Taiwan already is part of the Chinese tree since it is the Rwpublic of China.
South Korea is actually pretty likely considering Gaijin seems to want a North Korean subtree for China and both were in a recent leak.
But generally I am not sure if the US needs it, seeing as they easily still have more vehicles left to add than other nations that already have multiple subtrees. It’s inevitable in the future, but probably not a priority.

Myanmar is an ASEAN nation very close to China, and not a founding member so it is distinct from the group of nations Japan could get. I can also see them getting Cambodia and Laos as well, alongside Pakistan and Bangladesh.
North Korea was also leaked to be planned for China already

Besides there’s really only two options for Korea, a combined tree, or subtrees for China (NK) and US (SK)

I mean technically there could be 5 full Chinese branches with Pakistan in TT simutaneously. Just put the Pakistani vehicles in a folder under Taiwanese vehicles, most of them does have an equivilant.

I mainly brought them up for the Su-30SME, since that would be MKM equivalent.
Their light tank is also a fun one though, 2S1 chassis with a Chinese turret (same as the WMA I think)
