Thai was ally during ww2 and used some of japanese weapons. I think thats why they added Minor ally for Japan.
All event and premium vehicles should have a tech tree variant that is as close in terms of specs to the event/premium variant as possible.

Thailand has distinct parallels to japan, with a history of military cooperation, whereas Singapore and Malaysia are less so

Names aren’t an indicator of copy-paste.
On top of that, it’s already confirmed that the F-16A OCU is a unique aircraft.
Then there’s the fact that all of these are unique additions to the Japanese tech tree.

I feel like the ridiculous requests often damage the credibility of the UK tree.
For example asking for a UAE Leclerc or an Omani F-16 is not in the same vein as for example me wanting the CAC-27 to be in the UK tree, which is an Aussie-British modified sabre with the key modifications being an engine redesign done by Rolls Royce and the addition of ADEN cannons.
I have personally decided not to support asking for anything not either in a sub-tree or with direct links to the UK.

the big question remains though.
If Japan is getting all these, including the Gripen, will they actually see a domestic top tier aircraft like the F-2 this update as well?
