tbh the Typhoons dogfighting performance will not matter against the Rafale if it doesn’t get any new missiles. The MICA vs AIM-120 in a close range fight is no question.
It would be funny if the weather hint was for literal extreme weather.

I have a lot of words for the strela and “busted” isn’t even close to one of them
All fun and games until they make it so lightning can strike in a very specific spot and completely disable electronics, including fbw for planes that have/rely on it

The strela is very broken. Especially for a Manpad that claims to have no IRCCM
the strela at 10.3 is a joke. It literally cannot defend itself against any 10.3 strike jet because they all have laser guided bombs that they can use way out of its range.
What is your 4km on a good day SPAA gonna do against the Etendard who just dropped a GBU from 7km out?

Not even top tier SAMs (except for the Pantsir in some cases) can defend themselves against bombs dropped from the edge of space. Does that mean all SAMs above 10.3 should go down in BR?

Costs more than 10x as much to spawn an spaa vs jet with guided a2g, the jet should have a significant advantage to justify that price

The only time the prices skyrocket to the 800-900 territory is when AGMs get involved.

There is no way to make SAMs/SPAAs capable of defending themselves against those kinds of attacks.
The reason the Strela is seen as busted/overpowered at 10.3 is because the missiles are way more potent and flare resistant than the other SAMs at that BR range.
that’s all well and good… but it’s still garbage at it’s job due to the atrocious state of CAS balancing. Hence why I don’t consider it busted.
There is very few SPAA I can think of that I can call “busted” as someone who uses CAS.
