Thats another large aspect of Gripen people often forget about, its dragless design makes up for its TWR so much that it is by technicality 1:1 TWR
It would be fine… if they fixed Mica… its FM and generally range, it should be on level of amraam… not god damn super temp. But given it will be its main weapon for tons of patches, it will always be BFM jet instead of what it was meant to be.

High, honestly it would be on par if not worse than the leaked vehicles, for example only carriers 4 fox 3s (and 4 fox 2s at the same time) so its bvr will be limited

The VBCI T40 wouldve been hype. It would’ve finally caught france up for IFVs after 5 years of being behind everyone else. But nope they gave us the 25mm variant. So now france is finally at the level of IFV power that most nations were at 2.5 years ago

With how IR signatures are modeled. A high TWR might screw it more than benefit it
I also believe The EF and the Rafale are going to have Flanker syndrome and DUMP speed very quickly due to not being G limited

There is also no real info of it having an HMD. It’s only the radar thats really better but then again, looking at how Gaijin models PESAs I dont thing an AESA would be a problem right now. And the Kfir with the AESA is leaked as an event so they are coming anyways.

Excluding the 2 SAM systems, the VBCI T40 was legit the only possible vehicle from the list I was looking forward to by a longshot (the Namer would be close second if I didn’t know that it’ll be gimped to hell).
Kind of an “ah shit” moment when I saw the devblog today and realized likely no T40.
EDIT: still have some copium left for a TT BMD-4M and SEPv3, but it’s looking rough.

Would require the modeling of instability which gaijin hasnt done yet, would work when disabling the FBW aka switching to full-real without SAS and would apply for a lot of 4th gens in game

I dont think that will really matter honestly , maybe the Flanker wasnt a good comparison something more like the Viggen but CAN regain its speed

Gaijin doesnt even try to hide their disdain of france anymore.
BeNeLux was added and was generally wasted effort that couldve gone towards domestic vehicles
Their first 2 top tier IFVs were premium and squadron respectively
The M2KD RMV literally couldve just not been added because all that it has rn the base 2000D has used and could use.
BeNeLux Ground was useless
Now we finally get a tech tree IFV and its one thats nearly 3 years too late
