IMO they’d just make the missiles agile enough to whip around on people in a turnfight. Not much to do differently there tbh.
It doesn’t have TVC, which definitely makes a fairly large difference for the game.
Yeah not lock behind but can get a plane that ends up behind

None of the Pythons have TVC, their whole thing is being super agile even without it.

Funny how they used a Hornet in that illustration when Israel doesn’t use Hornets.
Reading about the differences again, I seem to have misunderstood something. Regardless, however, the Python 5 has much better range and pull, giving it close to IRIS-T levels of pull, something that the Python 4 cannot achieve.
Yeah that’s what I meant, still not full sphere capabilities. P4 would still be better than anything in game right now but worse than things such as irist, asraam
Thing is pull and turning speed/ radius are 2 different things. Missiles are a lot more difficult to compare than people assume. A 50g but heavy missile and a 20 g but very light missile would on theory have the same turning circle, but then there’s things like speed bleed, acceleration from motors, length of burn time and really use case. Asraam is not gonna be the best dogfight missile but it will still be a very strong missile as the idea is to end the dogfight before it ends
Fun fact I read somewhere that asraam is so accurate that there is a mode on the missile where it will specifically target the cockpit

I think Australian hornets could use pythons but I’m really not sure

Yeah so I remembered correctly
An Aussie Hornet with ASRAAMs and Python 4s would be interesting.
Yeah so that’s why I think if UK gets a hornet it would be aussie not canadian, atleast it would have unique armament for a hornet. And python with silly 1 circle performance with hmd would be a funny combo in a dogfight
Rafael is surprisingly very good at air-to-air missiles. I’m not sure about i-derby-ER, but Python is very good
