Best case for the US is the introduction of the F/A-18 and maybe the AIM-120C but I think the 120C is very unlikely with the AMRAAM already being the overall best missile

Not even F18E would make competition unless they give it 9X too, since F18E should bleed way more speed, I mean I would rather have my insane F15E dragster than a semi slugish speed bleeder that only has 10 missiles with a bit more range + israel cant get F18

Well it isn’t really a BVR truck considering that it only(funnily) has 8 missiles while typhoon could reliably turn fight and also BVR with its 10 missile slots, so I think its a bit crazy for half of the nations in war thunder to have such an upgrade over me while I could happily get at least an AESA radar to help with faster detection and reliability

It has 8x BVR missiles vs the Typhoons 4 maybe 6.

I’m not saying that US/Israel should dominate, but typhoon should literally be an F15E (half the size) with 2 more missiles and also less speed bleed and I think Typhoon is a bit faster than F15E because it also has supercruise which should mean less fuel used per battle

The closest and only equivalent to the F-15E for Italy, Britain and Germany is the Typhoon, For france that is Rafale.

That’s an exaggeration, US will probably always be above all, but it hasn’t been crazily overpowered, but most people play US jets so you get the feeling that US jets are so much better while there are literally max 3 players that play with F4F and etc

except they objectively are. Using your own metrics. the F-15E has 2x more missile than the gripen and is faster with double the number of possible BVR missiles (and in the case of BRitain, VASTLY superior ARH missiles)

Choice A) add the Typhoon, Choice B) Remove the F-15E, that is the onyl way to maintain baalnce currently

Thinking about it, the only reasons why it doesn’t feel like the US is as dominant as they currently are is because A) it’s constantly US vs US and B) a lot of F-15 pilots in game are straight up ass.

“dominate” sorry but you’re dramatizing, literally for the past 6 matches I been killed by anything but F15Es, ofc people got dunked on by the first people that got and spaded F15Es, I got killed alot by F15Es, but now I swear it isn’t that bad and every update happens that at top tier, the only thing that F15Es has is its speed, you still need to know how to play if you want to perform

Not a monopoly, but definitely ahead of the rest by a good bit. And we have our own 6th gen program, which at least for the navy is farther along than the GCAP and Tempest

Those happened to not be the best missiles in the game while typhoon will receive the missiles that I have and also the russian missile spam is very annoying too

Yeah but that doesnt mean you can just go in it and do very well without even knowing what radar is, every jet in the game can be useable

4 on the dedicated belly mounts that is for certain. Some sources suggest that the inner wing pylons can run BVR, but not all. 6 is likely the max.

Few and far between are the sources that suggest they cant be mounted on the others though its possible this is simply a case of “it wasnt done but no reason why it couldnt be done”

However, there is a giant elephant in the room that is Gaijin. Loadouts are balancing decisions and so I could totally see them limiting the Typhoon to 4x AMRAAM for now as a “balancing measure”. Much in the same way they’ve denied Brimstones on the wing hardpoints on the Tornado Gr4 or the 6x Aim-9 loadout for the Harrier Gr7
