Yes, im aware of the inclusion of Thailand, but to be honest i’ve found it very underwhelming.
I was hoping for something NEW, never seen before like, Submarines (now planned for 2025) or a NEW mechanic, or NEW Nation, not 10 planes that we already have in the game and call it good.
The closest thing to a new mechanic that’s been confirmed is probably the multi unit AA but I don’t see us getting any of them this patch.
Besides December patch in my mind has always been a big top tier air dump, F-16A, MiG-29, Tornado, F-15A, SU-27, Gripen were all December updates afaik. Recently anyways
Really what I would expect is 3 new top tier airframes so ideally, the F/A-18, Eurofighter, and Rafale. And whilst I do want the J-10B, I would gladly give it up for those 3 airframes being added.
You do realize they can’t make the game perfect for everyone, for every 1 person who can afford to put thousands of hours into war thunder unlocking all the trees to top tier, there are 1000 people who can’t, who may only be able to realistically play one nation if they want to make reasonable progress, so why should the game cater to the 0.1% who have it all instead of everyone else who don’t have the time to grind out all the variety every nation has to offer.
And as far as hating on top tier, the solution to that is just don’t play it, no one is forcing you, and they still release lower tier vehicles every update, sure they are never the focus, but Gaijin already update the game at an incredible rate, again, just because you can put in 20 hour weeks on war thunder doesn’t mean there isn’t content, you just burn through it quicker than they can make it.
Israel shouldn’t have gotten the “Israel treatment”, the nation is more than capable of having ranks I-III with not a lot of C&P around. Not every nation immediately got offered vehicles from the US and USSR, Israel needed to make do with WW2 vehicles from literal junkyards; arming APCs and halftracks with all sorts of random weaponry from 20mm autocannons to WW1 field guns.
