Yeahhhh… thats what im worried about as well
Wouldve been better than EAC by quite a bit still. R6 being a competitive game wouldve seen more cheaters and there is actually a point for people who have no ethics to consider to cheat.
@Smin1080p_WT Do you know if the implementation of Battleye will cause any problems for Linux users?
Not a Linux user myself but looking at the implementation of Battleye in other games like GTA Online and how players on Linux are completely blocked from accessing the game has me worried about how this will affect the game.
Also given the clear and abundant amount of cheaters in games like GTA Online, Arma, DayZ, R6 Siege, and many more will the problems associated with Battleye like it’s constant false flags and Kernel issues actually offset the benefits of some cheaters being caught?
Installation is already failing so I can’t even play the game.
Great start for battle eye lol.
Alright its 5:20 AM. I am hollow Im going to bed now
We don’t have any current plans to cease Linux support with this. So any reported issues will be addressed wherever it’s possible to do so.
EAC will still be supported on Linux for now too.

Funny how there has to be some short of screw up during an event xD
I have a couple of Imperial Fists also. Just enough for a kill team :)
none of the games I played that did have BattlEye were even remotely clear of cheaters
He’s not gonna tell us that
