Storm Warning - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

never seen a bad take from this guy

It is a toned down Irbis iirc

But it near to part 3

F3R has AESA, F3.2 does not
But F3R is also supposed to carry Meteors.

I really don’t understand why they decided to go for this variant this early, it was unecessary imo.

F3.2 with PESA would have been enough for now

Not necessarily, cause we can make arguments of AESA installation on that thing, we do know at least the initial PESA was rejected due to less range and accuracy to 1473, which delayed J10B service, but eventually J10B got some sort of ESA radar, we suspect it is actually AESA.

They seem to think R-77-1s wouldn’t make enough of a difference, actually

they’re right. Until the fm are fixed and they get something with a decent radar, ussr is cooked.

Kinda crazy how we aren’t going to 14.0…

I fully expected this

Then it shouldn’t be too tragic, I don’t have definitive scan rate numbers etc on it though, I’d need to find them.

Are you referring the F15E?

lol that’s BS! 77 has no Sustainer and the 77-1 does

Might yet. Remember f16C and co were 0.3 lower on Dev than live

We shouldve seen:

Eurofighter Tranche 1 Block 5 for all operators with GBU and LITENING, AMRAAM and AIM-9s

Early Rafale C with RBE2 PESA, MICA/Magic combo of the Mirage 2000-5F, and EGBUs with Damocles

lets ignore the thruster difference and the more aerodynamic nose cone.
its more pointy so its scarier

F-15E/I, typhoon, rafale, leaked J-10B/11B etc could all use 14.0

Frankly, even if they are 14.0, it’s going to be a bit rubbish. Really do need decompression.

Typhoons. Brimstone 1 or 2s?

These aircraft were never advertised to receive these missiles and have a lower BR because of it.
