Isn’t working for me yet, I deleted my account, when I press try again it just tries again then goes back to the error page

If anyone still has this thing not solved, i had it too, couldn’t change the account that comes with the steam, adding -nosteam to the startup properties worked for me.
For me, i went to Documents > My Games > War Thunder > Saves > common.blk, then turned useSteamLoginAuto:b=yes to useSteamLoginAuto:b=no. Of course it may be different for others, but that’s how i got it to work whilst getting all the steam features & achievements.
Make sure to change it back to no when you log onto a Steam WT account, it will change to yes sometimes.
Ive had this happen a couple of times over the years. What I do is I log out of the game, log onto the War Thunder site and delete the Steam account profile. I then launch War Thunder through the Aces.exe and load into the game with my default account. I goto my profile and goto “Switch Profile” so it logs me out. I then log back in and then close the game. It “should” now be good for launching back through Steam again without it auto-logging you in with a Steam account. (I just had to do this again yesterday actually)
Rather than using aces.exe to start the game, use the launcher.exe, and don’t use Steam to even start the game.
And more to the point, use the games vanilla launcher in the first place.
