I am gonna make this short because nobody want to read a novel.
I play ground since the beginning even before us was introduced. I experienced peak years of ground battles. I remember big open maps every other game, simulator mode working similiarly to realistic battles. But what the hell happened in recent years.
There is seriously no difference between realistic and sim. Same cqc maps, same gamemodes. They even introduced br rotations based on some pseudo historical balance that isnt really working.
I dont want gaijin make whole different game out of sim battles. They dont want to make new gamemode, okay well i cant do nothing about it other than cry, because those two capture gamemodes are not working after 13 years of ground battles anymore
What i propose is
- let player choose what rotation he wants to play - that will attract more people into sim battles.
- revisit rotations and balance them - why do i play with my centurion against bmd from 2010. why do i have to play t72a against leopard 2a6. doesnt make sense at all
- scrap small cqc maps for sim battles at least - i play abandoned factory, sweden, small versions of big maps in sim same way i get them in realistic. There is big tunisia, volokolamsk, kursk and so many more maps you just dont get to play at all because gaijin wants fast sim battles.
this gamemode is seriously abandoned completely and it makes me so sad because it has so much potential to be somewhat realistic military game. I dont enjoy fast paced call of duty grb anymore after all those years. And playing sim battles makes you even more frustrated
