I wanted to start GB and sense the sale is on I was wondering what a good vehicle between the BR 4.0-8.0.
None.
Should I just go with prem time?
Cromwell for 4.0
Centurion action X is a solid 7.7 premium with weak turret cheeks
FOX AND SCIMITAR
AS90 is solid too
i’d just get premium time and play the tree regularly.
Premium account is always the answer if you want to move up the tree quicker

Reason I was asking about vehicles is because I’ve played early Britain on my friends account and hated it.
To skip what’s not fun for me I used the Challenger DS. Pretty decent vehicle and you can pair it with squadron T-90S.
None, go for premium time. Out of all the trees I played, GB is the worst one. Good luck the challnger is not worth it unless you want to just collect it
What about something like the AX or AVRE?
The Centurion Mk.5 AVRE? Yeah, you will hate your life if you buy a tank that only shoots HESH rounds at 21 sec reload. The tree is one of those trees you save for the very end when you are bored or hate your life.
GB is good till BR 4.7 when the last tank is the Avenger than you go through the worst tree until you get to 9.3 Olifant (which is not even GB). Their best top tier tank is the M1A2 Sep V3, I only did GB to collect the Abrams for my collection and currently doing China for their Abrams.
What about the action x or overlords pack?
Echoes of Overlords pack is good, highly recommend buying that but that’s going to be the peak of GB.
In fact, ALL packs across every nation that has them (Hell on Wheels, Two Fronts, In May 1945) are the best packs for grinding up to their +1 respective BRs. If only Gajin did it for minor nations first vs the big 3 and for some reason GB but oh well.
Action X has APDS, unless you want to be the King of Assists firing a shell at 8.7 secs at a BR where most tanks will take you to town on all fronts I would skip it just go look at the average crew count on most tanks and what can be penetrated and you will avoid it like the plaque. GB suffers from an APHE problem at those BRs, poor mobility and better rivals.
