Eh, the Su-39 is the closer one to squadron/premium/event material. They went with premium and they wanted a tech tree equivalent, not a lot of other options for tech tree ~11.3 Su-25’s.
Su-25T as a squadron as well would be like making the BMD-4 an event and the BMD-4M a premium…wait a minute.
Then we’re getting the Late SU-33 which is excellent, Early SU-33s don’t have any visible antennas possibly hinting to the lack of radar warning receivers.
Respectfully Gaijin, this vehicle should not be squadron, instead being situated after the YaK-141. It makes 0 sense for it to not be in the tech tree, its like making every F-14 a squadron vehicle.
I’m sorry the Su-33 is literally the main naval multirole aircraft of the late Soviet Union and Russian Federation. It is a pure disgrace to put it anywhere but the line of its predecessor the YaK-38.
Not really, its just an old abandoned fighter project put on life support with small modernisations like the L-150 RWR. Not particularly multi-role, or the main anything.
The Su-27S is the tech tree version, the Su-33 is the obscure alternate version.
It’s so clear that you have 0 idea what you’re talking about and pay no attention to the military happenings of the Russians from like the 80s to present. The Su-33 has been on continuous deployment for literal years. It is not at all obscure.
