Squadron Vehicles: JF-17 Thunder

Ah. I just ask because I made this one few days ago. :D

It looks like a bootleg USA jet

Well I mean as should be expected seeing as its suppisedly developed off the F-16 (hence the name JF-17 [Joint Fighter 17]) and America did help in its development for a time but pulled out

So it’s basically an American based airframe with Russian engine, Chinese electronics and weapons

Here is history of development of JF-17 (its in Czech so you need to probably translate):

I never managed to recover from these weird sideways stalls :(

I managed it once and I was able also record it (so at least we know that its possible) :D

No because Pakistan never used PL-9C. PL-5EII will become one of the best toptier IR missile when its seeker is fixed.

how is its seeker broken?

No IRCCM even though it had IRCCM irl.

Did they say they will fix it since it is work in progress or is it just they need more sources even though it is primary sources from AVIC website already.

Do you have a photo of dual BRM in those positions? Because the only rockets I saw in dual rack combination there were smaller 2.75in rockets, 7 rockets per pod, so two pods carry less than a single BRM pod.

Has anyone Bug reported the JF-17 missing dual Racks for the LS-6 250?
Allowing 8 to be carried.
Since they use the same pylons as the non guided 250 bombs

Any images?

Only through dcs but the jf-17 can already dual rack the regular 250’s so it should be able to dual rack the glide 250’s as well.

I still think it can carry too little loadout to be classified as an attacker.

Nothing to do with F20, which wasn’t even a thing at the time. You can see a trace of Mig 21 left if you look at the back part

After all, MiG design bureau also participated in the development of the aircraft (aerodynamics / engine).
