If the Booster isn’t required for the stunner (it does look like it is removable) size isn’t an issue it’s smaller than the derby

Maybe MR uses standard DERBY, while LR uses ER.

If I had to make a guess, either there’s two booster designs that can be fit to the base of an I-Derby ER for extended ranges, LR and MR boosters respectively

The MR is an I-Derby with the booster, and the LR is an I-Derby ER with the booster

This its bs, a couple of flares made my p5 loose the target. Literally a spike has better IRCM.
Feels like im shooting aim9L (note: this only happened this match, the others went good, especially against planes flaring)

Irst does not have optical guidance and yes it also eats flares at distances and sometimes even in close if they are pre flaring
Agree for flares, Iris-T can’t hit my Tigre heli until I use all of them then 100% chance to die.

Idk about dev but since it was added it only have same irrcm as python aim9x same nothing more or less values could have been chance since then but should be around same because all the three missiles uses iir that was not given irst actually have a disadvantage at distance irrcm fov is so big even if u drop few flares it will go for it just like any fov seeker missile but yes all three also have fov and seeker shut off that also helps in long range shoot because once they flare they can easily change direction and give the seeker flare in the fov
I have used gripen just put in on periodic flare and fly low while maneuvering a little then u can go and gun then easily slm is very bad ofc not as bad as sypder but it is great because people don’t react at range thinking they are safe

More and more countries are purchasing this system after the Iran Israel conflict. Obviously it works, Isreal offers systems with similar capabilities to the US and Germany for a fraction of the cost which of course makes it a superb market for lower income nations looking to bolster their defense. The fact that Kenya isn’t a major military power in Africa is irrelevant.
