By your own metrics of what is “effective air range”, Sparrows barely have 15km. 30km requires the same kind of paid actor as you need for 40km+ Derby shots.
You mean those extra 20% thrust was added as Gaijin went out of their way to buff the missile with the rework, as initial state of the missile with two stage motor had about as much extra thrust as C5 has over A/B AMRAAMs.
Then for actual thrust and air drag values, unless you have the most sekrit of dokuments AND you meet correctly minded moderator AND someone at snail feels EXTRA productive today, its not going happen. At best Derpy ER may or may not be added as “next step” missile. Now witness Gaijin add them + P4 to Sufa to drive power creep forward

Iaf clearly said derby has more thrust then p4 so no problem here but u right gaijin wont change it cuz israel has anti bias
Same for p4 we wont see it soon and even if we will they gonna butcher it
I would take that only because I want the sufa so very badly, popeyes too.

The total SL and RP cost of modifications is the same for all vehicles on the same BR. Since SPYDER only has 2 modifications at tier I, each single modification will be twice as costly as if it was another vehicle on the same BR with 4 tier I modifications.

Anything they can do to get you to spend a few dollars more for premium. I agree man the amount of grinding you gotta do is harsh for sure in top tier

Any accepted reports for the spyder yet? Other than the smokeless motor of course which shouldn’t even have been of question, does anyone know if they fixed p5 missile wobble?
i have a strong feeling for when they fix the spyder to how it should be, there will be a parade

Ive looked as early as this morning, so far nothing.
It won’t matter, 12.0 is always 13.0 anyway. If they move up SPYDER from what is already top BR for ground then they move up CAS too (it makes sense) which means that for most players things get better, for Israeli mains who would now have an AA that works? Its still leagues better

And they will make the spyder the same br as s300 or smt
I wouldn’t put it past them, but I think it would be better if they added a new class of SPAA. s300 is a medium range solution like Patriot. It shouldn’t be on the field with our tanks. Story for another time however. Tbf if they buffed SPYDER with I-Derby-ER and fixed it’s three glaring issues rn, I wouldn’t care. They could boost GRB max to 13.0 and make SPYDER the highest BR out of all of them. It would be that good. It has a flawless combat record in both indo-pak and the 12 day war. The fact we are sitting here begging for crumbs to fix a proven world class AA is ridiculous. I’m genuinely worried they’ll make Patriot useless just because Israel gets them too, to say nothing of David’s sling. All SPYDER needs right now, are fixes we don’t need new missiles (though this would be nice) or new features. We just need three things
We need the radar to actually work, the idea of 4 AESAs performing worse than a Gepard and dropping locks like an F4 phantom is ridiculous. We know gaijin can and has modeled planar ESA radars before since we’ve had the Pantsir for years.
We need the Python to actually fly like a missile and not like a dyslexic paper airplane in a hurricane. (DL would also be wonderful there is more than enough evidence)
And we need the Derby we have to actually go active
Fix all of this and SPYDER functions just fine after which I will stop complaining on the spot.
EDIT: oh right I almost forgot this might be a me thing but my DL for the Derby SR is not working resulting in me only being able to fire on one target with them. Asking around if I’m alone here

Damn this thing is utter garbage. Anything with FnF missiles can just do whatever they want as long as they stay 8-10km away from you.
Both Derby and Python 5 feel inconsistent as hell.
